How To Switch Between Profiles on Amazon Fire

A child account lets kids access safe content, and you can set up time limits if you wish. Here’s how to add your child to an Amazon Fire tablet:

  • Go to Settings > Profiles & Family Library.
  • Tap Add a Child Profile. If there is no password on your device, you will be prompted to create one now.
  • Choose a name and birthdate for the child’s profile, then tap Add Profile.

TIP: You might be asked to start an Amazon Kids+ trial. Feel free to skip it by tapping Use Amazon Kids with your own content.

How Do I Exit a Child Profile on Amazon Fire?
After your child is done with their profile, it is easy to switch back to an adult profile using the same Quick Settings panel from which you switched users.

  • Drag open Quick Settings from the top of the screen.
