Microsoft Edge Browser Now Available In Android and Apple Platforms

Microsoft recently launched a new web browser called “Edge Browser” but it was initially available only to Iwindows computers but now the browser is available on Android, tablets, as well as Apple’s iPads.

Before now, people complained of the poor responsiveness and experience using the edge browser on devices with bigger screen but this latest update has fixed that with more optimization added.

This is coming few months the web browser was made available for ios and android users in preview mode. According to Microsoft, “Now, you too, can experience familiar features like your Favorites (including Roaming Favorites), Reading List, New Tab Page, Reading View, and Roaming Passwords in Microsoft Edge across all of your devices,” the company said in a blog post.

It is compatible with devices running Android 4.4 and above. The iPad version, on the other hand, is available for download via the App Store and requires iOS 9.0 and later.

 

Meanwhile, Microsoft needs to work harder if they are really targeting to displace Google’s Chrome browser which is still my best web browser.
