Shortly after officially unveiling the highly anticipated Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus, Samsung detailed the official first-party accessories for both devices that will he hitting the shelves alongside its latest flagship duo in April. As expected, protective covers account for the majority of official accessories for the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus, though Samsung also introduced a number of power-related hardware.
The South Korean company once again redesigned the Clear View Cover it usually ships with its annual pair of flagships and its latest revision of the case also features a kickstand. The transparent Clear View Stand Cover will not only protect your device but allow you to interact with it even when the case is closed. The LED View Cover was also redesigned to fit the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus which will support 54 special icons designed exclusively for this protective case. Consumers who are primarily interested in protecting their new Samsung-made smartphones in style can opt for either the Clear Cover or the Alcantara Cover, while those who are looking for a cheaper alternative may purchase the Silicone Cover or the unique and colorful 2Piece Cover. Furthermore, Samsung also debuted the physical Keyboard Cover that doesn’t require charging and works the moment you snap it onto the device. Finally, the tech giant announced the Galaxy S8-compatible Wireless Charger Convertible that will be available in black and beige, as well as the 5,100mAh Battery Pack available in blue and white.

Curiously enough, Samsung’s official accessory page for its latest flagships doesn’t mention the Samsung Desktop Experience (DeX) dock, implying that the device might be compatible with more Samsung-made handsets in the future and wasn’t made exclusively for the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus.
