Latest from cell phones plan From Googles Desk, Post-Pixel launch, Google has rolled out another great announcement for customers: the company’s Project Fi cell plans are now available for families and groups.
From 12/10/2016, you can add up to five extra people to your individual Project Fi account. All six lines will enjoy unlimited talk and text domestically, with your first line priced at $20 per month and each additional line $15.
The base rate doesn’t include cellular data, although unlimited WiFi use is available. High-speed data will still be charged at a rate of $10 per gigabyte, per line, per month, and as before, any unused megabytes will be refunded to your account as a bill credit.
Now that Project Fi prioritizes Wifi use, so when available all your calls, text and data will be routed over Google’s nationwide network of WiFi hotspots. Cellular coverage is provide by T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and internationally, Three – so no matter where you go, you’ll be automatically switched to the best service available. CHECK OUT
Because with Project Fi’s individual plans, all billing for the new group options will be managed by one account. However, each user can manage their own data use through the Project Fi app, and data notifications are available to help customers avoid going over budget.

The multi-line Fi plan is contract-free and supports the new Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, as well as Google’s Nexus 5Xand Nexus 6P releases. As an added bonus, Google has slashed prices on both the 5X and the 6P for customers signing up to Project Fi.
Buy the Nexus 5X from Google and activate it on a Project Fi plan, and you’ll receive $150 off the $349 retail price. Similarly, the premium Nexus 6P is discounted by $100, dropping from $499 to $399.
