Samsung Galaxy J2 Details and Price
Samsung Galaxy J2
The Samsung Galaxy J2 was another release from the J midrange family of smartphones made by Samsung. The 4.7-inch unit would go on to be released to other markets too, and with special names. For example, this same device would be otherwise called a Galaxy J200G in India and Indonesia. Since there is the option for a dual SIM, it has also been referred to as the Samsung Galaxy J2 Duos.

Design and Display
Samsung retains the form factor for most of its mid-range devices with the Samsung Galaxy J2.What is remarkable about the design has to be the difference in height from other models. 4.7 inches is not much to get excited about, and a heavy user surely would not be content with a 234 ppi. However, that screen size is just ideal for a resolution of 540 x 960, as more could put the display in further jeopardy.
Memory and Performance
Again, this is where the heavy user knows this phone is not for them. even the average user could have issues with the 1GB of RAM that the Samsung Galaxy J2 provides. All that is paired with an internally made Exynos 3475 processor. Since Samsung are used to making use of their own chipsets themselves, there is no benchmark to test this against. It is sure though that this is just enough to get the device up and about its daily activities.
Camera
A measly 2MP camera on the front won’t do much, but its better than nothing. With what has been said so far, no one would expect a front flash on this device. Pairing that with a 5MP unit on the back is a quite apt configuration, one that we have been used to over the years. One plus to the camera scene is the introduction of a LED flash on the back to better low-light capturing.
Battery, Connectivity and Software
2000mAh is a far cry from what is expected to get even the average user through one full day. If it holds up to its promise of 12 hours of talk time under 3G network conditions though, then it could not be as bad as it looks. Music play also stands at an interesting 41 hours.
Shipping with the Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box, there is no upgrading to the latest android version. At least, not yet. In the meantime, the device offers connectivity options such a Bluetooth and GPS. While NFC is unsurprisingly absent, FM Radio functionality is enabled.
Pricing and Availability
The phone is retailed by most stores in the price range of #35,000 – #45,000. Note that the final price is dependent on where you are getting yours from and other factors.
