TONY ELUMELU FOUNDATION NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2026 ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMME
We are pleased to inform you that the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) is now accepting applications for the 2026 TEF Entrepreneurship Programme .
This programme is designed to equip young Africans with the tools, funding and ecosystem support needed to build viable businesses and create jobs.
What selected entrepreneurs receive
• US$5,000 non-refundable seed capital to launch or scale a business
• 12 weeks of structured business training on TEFConnect
• World-class mentorship from business leaders and industry experts
• Access to TEF’s pan-African entrepreneurial ecosystem
• Entry into a network of over 24,000 TEF alumni across all 54 African countries
The TEF impact
Since our launch in 2010, the Tony Elumelu Foundation has empowered over 2.5 million young Africans with access to business management training on our proprietary digital hub, TEFConnect, and disbursed over US$100 million in seed capital to more than 24,000 selected entrepreneurs on the TEF Entrepreneurship Programme. Collectively, these entrepreneurs have generated $4.2 billion in revenue and created more than 1.5 million direct and indirect jobs. Through our support for African entrepreneurs, TEF has lifted 2.1 million people out of poverty, with 45% of supported entrepreneurs being African women.
Who can apply
• Africans from any of the 54 African countries
• 18 years and above
• With a business idea, an unregistered venture, or an existing business not older than five (5) years
