TRAVEL MASSIVE LAGOS : THOUSANDS GATHER TO DISCUSS THE FUTURE OF TRAVEL, TOURISM & TECHNOLOGY

Travel Massive Lagos Partners with Social Media Week Lagos to engage on Driving Travel Decisions and Building Symbiotic Communities.

The SMW Lagos 2018 theme “Closer” will explore the intensifying conflict between community and individualism. The conversation will bring together a diversity of perspectives to discuss the most productive ways to harness these forces to drive innovation, improve consumer experiences and bring people together. Informed by the theme CLOSER, the Travel Massive Event will explore the best practices of social and mobile for travel and tourism stakeholders, as well as the impact of mobile technology on social media engagement and how it can be profitably deployed to build new communities, drive engagement and travel decisions.
SMW Lagos is part of the larger Social Media Week conference hosted in 12 cities around the world.  The event produced by AFRIKA21 returns to Lagos, Nigeria for it’s 6th edition on the 26th of February – 2rd of March 2018. The first African city to host the annual event. To date, over 25,000 people has participated in SMW Lagos. Travel Massive Lagos event will take place on Tuesday, February 26th, 2018 by 6pm.
“TravelMassive Lagos is proud to be a part of SMW Lagos once again. Much like this year’s event theme – “Closer”, our aim is to connect travel insiders to meet, learn and collaborate at the SMW Lagos. Our event will be a great resource for travel and tourism stakeholders as we delve into what the relationship between social media and mobile technology means, how social and mobile can be used to reach, engage and drive travel decisions. We’ll also explore how travel stakeholders can integrate other marketing channels with social and mobile to build a targeted audience and convert the engagement into revenue.” said the Chapter Leaders, TravelMassive Lagos.
Some of the confirmed keynote speakers include: Digital Marketing Expert and Co-Founder of Email Forest Ayeni Ekundayo; Commercial Manager of Travelstart Nigeria Bukky Akomolafe; CEO/Co-Founder of XTRM Tours2Nigeria Michael Balogun; Account Director of Ogilvy One Temitayo Ige and Head Nomad of Digital Nomads Yejide Runsewe.
