YouTube Go app is launched for countries with slow Internet connection. This is just the Beta app, and it works similarly to the main YouTube Android app, but this Beta version has the option to download a video for offline viewing.
At long last, YouTube Go app has officially rolled out in India. The Beta version has been rolled out to Google Playstore in the Asian country. If you are in India, you can head over to Playstore to install the app. For now, there’s no stable version for the app, it will be in Beta testing pending when the stable version arrives.
The app only offers Basic and Standard viewing quality (144p and 360p) – no HD quality available. People can even share downloaded videos via Bluetooth to save even more of that precious data although Google has warned that a 15kb security check will need to be performed first.
