“While live videos will continue to disappear from the app when you’re done, this update gives you the flexibility to hold onto your video and re-watch it later,” reads the latest Instagram blog post announcing this new feature. The ability to save Instagram Live video will be arriving to both iOS and Android versions of the app. Windows Phone users will have to wait for some time before this new feature hits their device.

Instagram’s previous updates include the ability to use multiple accounts, disappearing photos or videos in direct messages, stories, and the live video feature itself.
