Finally wait is over. HMD unveils its first Nokia Android smartphone — Nokia 6, which marks the re-entry of the brand in the industry.
The Nokia 6 boasts an aluminium uibody design and features a 5.5-inch in-cell full HD display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass on top. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with X6 LTE modem and also features 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of on-board storage alongside microSD support, a 16 megapixel main camera, and a 3,000 mAh battery.



The sound output on the smartphone has been further powered by Dolby Atmos. HMD has confirmed that it will ship with Nougat, the seventh major version of Google’s operating system.
The Nokia 6 is exclusive to China and has been priced at 1699 CNY (approximately Rs 16,750). It will be available for purchase in early 2017 through JD.com.
Having said that, there is no reason for global Nokia fans to get disappointed, as HMD Global has got really big plan this year. Rumour has it that Nokia-brand phone maker HMD Global Oy is expected to make announcements on six to seven phones throughout the year, which means almost one new phone launched every two months.
