DAILY FASTING AND PRAYER FOR THE FORTHCOMING ANNUAL CONVENTION

DAY 11 – PRAYER FOR THE MATERNITY

Theme: Mountain Movers

Introduction

The RCCG Annual Convention is a time of divine visitation, supernatural encounters, and mountain-moving faith. As we prepare for this convention, we embark on a season of fasting and prayer, focusing each day on a specific theme that aligns our hearts with God’s purposes.

Day 11 is dedicated to praying for the Maternity. This is a time to intercede for the RCCG Maternity Centre, the expectant mothers, the medical and administrative personnel, and the newborn babies. The maternity is a place of life, hope, and healing. It is a place where God’s faithfulness is seen in the gift of new life. Through prayer, we commit this vital department into God’s hands, trusting Him for safe deliveries, divine protection, and testimonies of His goodness.

Why Pray for the Maternity?

1. Expectant Mothers Need Divine Protection

Childbirth is a significant event that requires divine protection. Expectant mothers and their babies need to be covered by the blood of Jesus. They need to experience safe deliveries and freedom from complications.

2. Medical Personnel Need Wisdom and Grace

The doctors, nurses, and midwives who serve in the maternity need divine wisdom, alertness, and compassion. Their hands are instruments of God’s healing and care. They need strength and grace to perform their duties effectively.

3. The Maternity Must Be Prepared for Emergencies

During large gatherings like the convention, the maternity must be prepared for emergencies. There must be no confusion, but divine order and readiness. Prayer ensures that every need is met and every situation is handled with excellence.

4. Newborn Babies Need God’s Grace

Every newborn baby is a gift from God. They need to be born healthy and whole, with no complications. They need to be covered by God’s grace and dedicated to His purposes.

5. The Maternity Is a Place of Testimonies

The maternity is a place where wonderful testimonies are recorded. It is a place of life, hope, and healing. Through prayer, we ask God to fill the maternity with His Spirit and to turn it into a place of miracles.
