You must be wondering what is PiP, right? According to the company, PiP is the acronym for Picture-in-Picture. This feature has been added to the latest version of WhatsApp and available for the public.

What Does Whatsapp’s Picture in Picture feature do?

This feature is enabled whenever you are making a video call. Just like you see on other video chatting apps, Whatsapp picture in picture mode displays a small screen that shows the person you are video chatting with, instead of displaying it in full screen.

Text-only status feature allow users to just post text-based updates for their friends to see. Instead of having a photo or video as your status, you can now just type text or insert a URL.
