Google Chrome has brought improvements regarding password security and other safety features for Android and iOS. If you have to tamper with your saved password, the browser will immediately send you a password change form. Chrome will send a copy of your username and password to Google in a secure format, after which Google will check your compromised information without removing your username and password from that secure format.

The technology giant has added support for the web standard , which works by giving websites the password to change the URL. This makes the process of forcing the password of the users easy. Using this standard, Chrome will alert users about their passwords being tampered with and will immediately take them directly to the webpage where they can change their password.

Google has also introduced some more features in Chrome 86, which have been released to improve user security. A better secure browsing feature has also been released for Android, through which Chrome will provide you with safe browsing service to protect against phishing, malware and other dangerous sites through real-time data sharing. Google earlier this year released the Enhanced Safe Browsing to the desktop and in a blog post information is seen that the predictive Phishing Protection fell by almost 20 percent in the number of users having to type your password in the phishing sites.

Chrome has also added a biometric authentication step before autofilling the password for iOS. You can set authentication using your Face ID, Touch ID or Phone Passcode. If you turn on Chrome Autofill in Settings, Chrome Password Manager will allow you to autofill save passwords in iOS apps or browsers.

Chrome 86 also brings ‘mixed form warnings’ for Android, which will warn users before submitting an unsafe form embedded on the HTTPS page. Such pages give users downloadable content through insecure links or use forms that submit data in an unsafe manner.
