Actually, it might interest you to know that the manufacturers of Xiaomi were the ones that took the first steps in this direction. A year before Apple produced the famous iPhone X, there was Xiaomi’s original Mi Mix phone.

Right now, with the presence of the Mi Mix 3, it is glaring that smartphone manufacturers can bring up any innovative feature they desire, as we see the superb features attached to this device.

This smartphone came with one of the highest screen-to-body ratios a smartphone can have presently, and we can only place it in the category of Honor’s Magic 2. In the attempt to eradicate all hindrance to it optimal performance, the manufacturers ensured they placed all the necessities on a slider. Thus, the dual-selfie camera, the LED flash, and even the earpiece can be found on the mechanical slider.

With this step, users will have a nice time with the 6.39″ Super AMOLED screen without disturbance. As if this is not enough, the makers also built the device’s shell from bent ceramic and polished aluminum.

The Mix 3 comes with the current available Snapdragon 845 chipset attached with either 8 or 10 gigs of RAM. The makers – Xiaomi –  has already made it known that they are working on a model that will come with Snapdragon 855 chip as well as 5G modem. However, this is yet to be officially announced (but will obviously be more expensive)

Coming back to the Mix 3, this is a smartphone with a superb dual-camera setup you will find at it back. Talking about the dual-camera, we should add that it is the same with the popular Mi 8 series that has 12MP regular and telephoto snappers as well as 4-axis OIS. However, the Mi Mix 3 is slightly above these – because users will absolutely enjoy the current developed Night mode for better low-light shots as well as 4K at 60fps video recording.

For lovers of selfies, there is an improvement in the Mi Mix 3. You will enjoy a 24MP main snapper and 2MP depth sensor. Additional, if you find yourself in a place with low-light, you don’t need to worry, as the device is with a LED fill-flash.

The smartphone also supports 10W wireless charging, and it comes with a battery with  3,200 mAh capacity.

Unboxing the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 retail package is sure superb. Of course, considering the competition out there currently, we aren’t expecting anything less than this. This device comes with an 18W charger and USB-C cable.

Additionally, you also see a very thin plastic case and USB-C-to-3.5mm adapter inside the package. The makers also include a very compact 10W wireless charger.

Headphones? No! But considering those things Xiaomi has included in the package, it is worth it.
