Lenovo shows off flexible smartphone and smart projector

Lenovo has gone wild with some of its innovations following its exhibition of some concept designs at the Lenovo Tech World summit. Of course some of these concepts may never see the light of day, however we pray some of their functions make it to real Lenovo products.

The Lenovo Cplus concept phone is very flexible device, more flexible than the LG G Flex. It sports a 4.35” AMOLED screen and comes with a real leather back (with an option of various colours).

The concept behind the innovation is to wear the Android-running Cplus like a bracelet, which makes it function like a smartwatch. Users can easily switch from phone mode to smartwatch mode (the smartphone uses ESIM).

Another concept is a new digital assistant dubbed CAVA. It uses facial recognition and natural language processing. It will be able to make recommendations built on your calendar.

Yet again, another one, the SmartCast+, a fraction of the Xperia Touch projector and another fraction from Amazon Alexa. Lenovo already has a classic smart speaker. The company wants the SmartCast+ to be able to identify objects and sounds, which will permit Augmented Reality functions.

Talking about AR, the daystAR is a standalone headset, which will delivers a 40° field of view and do all the processing itself (without the need of a PC or a phone).

Then there’s a SmartVest, which will accurately track user’s exercise routine, all thanks to ECG sensors. In the aspect of wearing the device, It is very comfortable to wear throughout the day and night.
